Fuggle
Propagated in 1875 by Richard Fuggle. This variety has provided the
basic breeding material for a number of other named varieties grown in
different parts of the world with similar characteristics, Willamette
being one. Fuggles is widely used in many different styles, but
porters, stout and darker beers benefit from its particular
sensuality.
